We are very happy customers, but that was not initially the case. We purchased carpet for our entire home, but after 9 months felt the carpet was not wearing well and not of the quality it had been represented to be. We voiced our complaint to Empire, but after an evaluation by an “independent” carpet expert, we were told there was no problem with the carpet. But clearly, in our view, there was. After several conversations with local and corporate customer service reps and management, our issue was resolved. Our carpet was replaced with lovely new carpet which is substantially better than what was originally delivered. Special kudos to Andrea, from the metro Detroit customer service office, as well as Laura from the corporate office who listened patiently and worked with us to achieve a fair and equitable resolution. We love our new carpet.
